TAC Tutorials - RTO Portal Access Request

The TAC RTO Portal is a convenient way for all our RTOs to access their details. The Portal is a direct link to TAC's data system.

Through the Portal an RTO can:

  • view your registration details with TAC including the RTO's contact details, scope of registration and delivery profile
  • submit online applications for your renewal of registration, change of RTO details, amendment to scope of registration, change of delivery and site details and course accreditation or reaccreditation

If you wish to apply to become a registered training organisation (RTO) with the Training Accreditation Council (TAC), you are required to complete a Portal Access Request form to create an account for the TAC Customer Portal. To access the form please find the link below:

TAC Tutorials - Completing the RTO1a Application for Initial Registration

Organisations need to complete the RTO1a Application for Initial Registration if it is applying to become a registered training organisation (RTO) with the Training Accreditation Council (TAC) for the first time.

TAC Tutorials - Completing the RTO1b Application for Renewal of Registration

TAC-registered RTOs need to complete the RTO1b Application for Renewal of Registration form to renew their registration with TAC.

TAC Tutorials - Completing the RTO2 Amendment to Registration Application

TAC-registered RTOs are to use this application form to add training package qualifications, explicitly listed units of competency and/or accredited courses to their registration.

RTOs can use the RTO2 Amendment to Registration form to:

  • add Training Package qualifications, units of competency or accredited courses to scope of registration;
  • remove Training Package qualifications, units of competency or accredited courses from scope of registration;
  • replace superseded Training Package qualifications and units of competency with non-equivalent Training Package qualifications and units of competency;
  • replace a superseded/replaced accredited course with a new accredited course; and
  • change from an assessment only service to offering a training and assessment service.
