How do I submit a royalty return?

Log in to Royalties Online and select the ‘royalty return’ tab to display all the active projects.

To enter the royalty return for a specific project, select the project name on the left of the screen.  This will expand to display all periods.

Select the period you need to report on and expand the product header. Once you can view all the fields, enter the required details then click ‘lodge return’.

Do I need to lodge a nil return?

Yes.  If you have lodged a royalty return for previous periods, you must lodge a return for the current period even if you don’t need to make a royalty payment during the current period.

You can select ‘lodge nil return’ for a project/period.

How do I change details on a previously lodged return?

Select the project/period and click the blue product header to expand the product view.

Select ‘change details’ to open a new line item for that product. Enter the updated details.

If your return is older than two years, please contact us to request an amendment.

How do I submit a production report?

Log in to Royalties Online and select the ‘Production Report’ tab.

Select the period you need to report on and expand the product header. Once you can view all the fields, enter the required details then click ‘lodge all’.

Do I need to lodge a nil production report?

Yes.  If you have lodged a production report for previous periods, you must lodge a report for every tenement even if you haven’t produced during the current period.

If the entire project has nil production, select ‘lodge all as nil’, otherwise select which tenements to report nil.

How do I change details on a previously lodged report?
