Did You Know?
The Equal Opportunity Commission offers low‑cost education and training opportunities to support agencies, organisations and the community across Western Australia, as well as some free training and education opportunities.
Our courses are delivered throughout the year and aim to build safer, fairer and more respectful workplaces and communities. Our Strategy, Engagement and Education team delivers practical, research‑informed programs that help staff and community members understand their rights and responsibilities under the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA), and respond effectively when issues arise.
These courses are suitable for private and public sector teams, community organisations and not‑for‑profits seeking to strengthen capability, improve early‑intervention practices and support a positive culture. All courses and programs can be customised to meet the unique needs of your organisation or group.
Important to note:
All training is grounded in Western Australian legislation and developed by an experienced education team.
Our team has extensive experience working with CaLD communities and are comfortable working alongside interpreters.
Content is scenario‑based and directly applicable to private and public sector workplaces, as well as community settings.
Sessions support organisations to reduce risk, lift staff capability and strengthen workplace culture.
