Commission officers were pleased to speak with a wide range of people, including families with children enjoying school holidays, people working in the city and those retired from paid employment, and to provide factsheets as part of answering their questions.

Also on offer at the stall was the Commission’s free 2025 calendar, which is available via our website where you can download a digital version to print for yourself or order printed copies.

Manager Strategy, Engagement and Education Dr Greg Watson noted the stall contributed to the Commission’s program of educating about equal opportunity as well as hearing people’s experiences of discrimination. Given the importance of both sharing information and listening, we look forward to presenting another ‘Stall in the Mall’ during 2025.

The Commission’s program to educate about equal opportunity includes a range of training and information sessions. If you are interested in the Commission delivering a session to your community group, please contact us by email at training@eoc.wa.gov.au or phone 9216 3927.

General information about training offered by the Commission is available on our website - Community Education and Training
