Community groups, local governments and organisations across Western Australia (WA) can now apply for a share of more than $142,000 in funding to deliver free events during Youth Week WA 2027.

The funding will support activities that give young people opportunities to share their ideas, showcase their talents and connect with their communities when Youth Week WA runs from 16 to 23 April 2027.

Grants of up to $1,500 and $3,000 are available for small-scale events, while community-wide events can apply for grants of up to $10,000.

For the first time, a $20,000 grant is also available for one local government, organisation or community group to host the Youth Week WA 2027 closing event in metropolitan Perth.

Youth Week WA is the State's largest annual celebration of young people aged 10 to 25 and recognises the positive contribution they make to communities across Western Australia.

The grants will help successful applicants deliver free events that encourage young people to participate, connect and celebrate their achievements.

Last year, 44 community organisations and local governments received funding to host Youth Week WA events across the State.

Applications for the Youth Week WA Grants Program open today and close at 3pm on Tuesday, 18 August 2026.

More information, including eligibility criteria and application details, is available on the Youth Week WA Grants webpage.
