A new collection site for the Free RAT Program opens in Rockingham on Wednesday, 9 March to make it easier for households to collect their five free Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs).

Under the program, each Western Australian household is eligible for five individual tests, which can they can either have delivered or choose to collect from a metropolitan collection site.

Households are able to register online (external link), or for those unable to register online they can contact 13 COVID (13 26843) for assistance in placing their order. People are required to provide their name, contact number, email and home address to register.

People should allow for up to 15 business days for delivery from when they receive confirmation, with regional areas being prioritised initially.

Once registered, people will receive confirmation with a unique order number, which is required if they choose to collect their free RATs from a designated collection point in the metropolitan area.

The new site will be at the Rockingham Railway Station overflow car park (corner of Rae Road and Ennis Avenue) will be open 7am to 6:45pm from Wednesday, 9 March to Friday, 11 March.

WA households are also able to collect their free test from the Perth Airport collection point.

It is mandatory for people who return a positive RAT to register their result online (external link) with the Department of Health. Those who do not have access to the online registration system must still report their positive test result by contacting 13 COVID (13 26843).
