The Department of the Premier and Cabinet has today launched its Strategic Plan 2023-26: Leading a Connected WA Government.

The plan defines the Department's purpose, values, and strategic priorities for the next three years. It will guide us in how we do our work, engage with our peers, colleagues, and partners, and importantly, contribute to delivering a brighter future for Western Australians.

One of the exciting parts about our Strategic Plan is the inclusion of three new values:

  • Leadership,
  • Connection and
  • Impact

In profiling these values, we are nurturing a culture that empowers us to lead with courage and integrity, build meaningful connections by collaborating with trust and empathy, and make an impact through positivity, pragmatism and curiosity.

Our new plan also features artwork from Kevin Bynder. Kevin is a Whadjuk-Yuet Ballardong artist and has been producing Aboriginal artwork for more than 20 years. Kevin’s incredible artwork for the Strategic Plan celebrates WA and its people, the department as a central agency, our new values and our connection to Whadjuk Noongar Boodja.
