The 10-year ‘A Western Australia for Everyone: State Disability Strategy 2020-2030’ was developed following a whole-of-community consultation process and highlights four key pillars:
- Participate and contribute
- Inclusive communities
- Living well
- Rights and equity
Since the implementation of the First Action Plan and Second Action Plan, government agencies, the disability sector, communities, and individuals across WA have actively worked to advance opportunities, outcomes and the quality of life for people with disability.
The Third Action Plan comprises 69 actions involving 17 public and private sector agencies, outlining their commitments over the next two years, and is reflective of the State Government’s ongoing commitment to support and progress the interests, wellbeing, and inclusion of all Western Australians living with disability.
