Due to the current COVID-19 situation in Australia’s eastern states and internationally, the WA Indo-Pacific Defence Conference has been postponed until 2022.

This decision puts the health and safety of Western Australians first, and will help to ensure the best event possible is delivered, to the biggest possible audience, when the time is right.

Organised by Defence West, in partnership with the Perth USAsia Centre and the University of Western Australia’s Defence and Security Institute, the conference was to be held at Optus Stadium from 19-20 October 2021.

Organisers will work closely with suppliers and stakeholders to reschedule the conference.

A new date for the conference will be set in coming months.

First held in 2018, the WA Indo-Pacific Defence Conference showcases Western Australia’s world-class defence industry and research capabilities to national and international stakeholders.
