Submitting a licence application

Step 1: Make sure you’ve got all your documents ready to apply.
Step 2: Apply for your licence. For relevant payment fees visit licence fees.
Step 3: Application granted within 6-8 weeks. You can continue working on your electrician’s training licence for up to three months after your training contract ends.

- A copy of your Trade Certificate
- AND A copy of your Certificate III (issued by RTO in last two years);
- AND A copy or letter of confirmation of the Record/Statement of Results (issued by RTO in last two years).
2. Additional documents
You'll also need:
- Proof of identification;
- A police check ready to upload (dated within the past 3 months, showing the same name as your identification);
- Visa/Mastercard for fee payment.
3. Complete application form
