Submitting a licence application

Select your relevant apprenticeship below for details. 

Step 1: Make sure you’ve got all your documents ready to apply.

Step 2: Apply for your licence. For relevant payment fees visit licence fees.

Step 3: Application granted within 6-8 weeks. You can continue working on your electrician’s training licence for up to three months after your training contract ends.

Completion of Electrical Mechanic apprenticeship

 You'll need

  • A copy of your Trade Certificate 
  • AND A copy of your Certificate III (issued by RTO in last two years); 
  • AND A copy or letter of confirmation of the Record/Statement of Results (issued by RTO in last two years).
