Add a class of work
You can add multiple classes and those classes will be added to your HRWL at the same time. Adding a class does not extend your expiry date.

Before you apply
1. You'll need
- Your accreditation number
- A completed
application form including a statement of experience for each class you are applying for, signed by a referee showing you've completed: - at least 1 year of full time (1,500 hours/40 weeks) experience (conducting work, direct supervision, training, consulting or advising) in the last 5 years
- OR a significant amount of experience more than 5 years ago and evidence of maintenance of competency in the last 5 years
- A letter from an RTO (for each class) on company letterhead and signed by a representative of the RTO confirming you will be:
- engaged to complete high risk work competency assessments of the relevant class/es in association with the RTO delivering the training in WA.
- trained in the use of the relevant National Assessment Instruments and Notice of Assessment book for the relevant class/es.
- Visa/Mastercard for fee payment.
2. Complete application form
Print and complete the relevant application form. You can use one form for multiple class additions.

What happens next
Licence applications typically take 4–6 weeks to process. WorkSafe will:
- Review your application and contact you by email if we need more information to process your application.
- Add your details to the Online licence search public register.
- Mail your accreditation to you.

Accredited assessors are required to notify WorkSafe before any assessment is conducted. Notifications are required to be made using an online form found here: Online forms

Maintenance of Experience
Assessors must maintain their competency to assess each class of work they are accredited in. Accreditation will not be renewed if competency is not maintained.
