Remove a condition

Details on removing a condition on a real estate and business representative registration (including property managers).

A real estate and business sales representative whose registration has a restriction on their certificate limiting them to property management transactions only or sales transactions only can apply to have conditions removed when they have completed the relevant additional units. There is no fee for removing a condition.

Before you apply

1. You'll need:

  1. Complete the required units to convert from a restricted registration as per the information below.
  2. Attach a copy of Statement of Attainment relevant units (see below for information) from the CPP41419 Property Services Training package

2. Complete application form

Required units of the CPP41419 Property Services Training

The following applies to all registration holders intending on progressing to a real estate and business agent licence by completing the Diploma of Property (Agency Management) – code CPP51119, the Diploma of Property (Agency Management) CPP51122 or those wanting to have a restrictive condition removed from their registration certificate.

Bridging units to go from a restricted Registration to an unrestricted Registration when the previous course you completed was from a Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) – code CPP40307 (this course was valid from 2007 to September 2021) or any courses before CPP40307:

For an existing Property Manager

  • CPPREP4005 - Prepare to work with real estate trust accounts
  • CPPREP4103 - Establish vendor relationships
  • CPPREP4104 - Establish buyer relationships
  • CPPREP4105 - Sell property
  • CPPREP4125 - Transact in trust accounts 

plus any 3 units from the below list:

  • CPPREP4102 - Market property
  • CPPREP4201 - Appraise commercial property
  • CPPREP4202 - Establish and maintain vendor and lessor relationships and networks
  • CPPREP4203 - Complete commercial property sale
  • CPPREP4204 - Establish commercial property lease
  • CPPREP5201 - Develop and maintain commercial property market intelligence

For an existing Sales Representative

  • CPPREP4005 - Prepare to work with real estate trust accounts
  • CPPREP4121 - Establish landlord relationships
  • CPPREP4122 - Manage tenant relationships
  • CPPREP4123 - Manage tenancy
  • CPPREP4124 - End tenancy
  • CPPREP4125 - Transact in trust accounts
