Since 12 September 2023, users have been given the option to access ServiceWA without logging in to their Digital Identity, offering streamlined access to government services and information. Users will only need to provide their Digital Identity when accessing specific services that require it.

Does ServiceWA track my location?
Show moreIf you enable Emergency WA bushfire warning notifications in ServiceWA, you are allowing the app to detect your device location and send you bushfire warning notifications.
This requires location services to be enabled and 'Background App Refresh' (iOs) or 'Allow background data usage' (Android).
To provide you with bushfire warning notifications, the ServiceWA app refers to your last known location only, and does not keep a continuous record of your location.
How is the personal information that I provide the ServiceWA app used by the WA Government?
