The yearly State Wage Case sets the minimum pay and award wages. Pay increases usually apply from the beginning of the first pay period that starts on or after 1 July each year.
This WA award summary applies to businesses in the state industrial relations system.
Page 2 of the WA award summary lists the businesses and occupations covered by this WA award.
This award only applies to specific named businesses including Subway, Red Rooster, KFC, and Chicken Treat where the relevant employer is operating in the state system (Refer to page 2 of the award summary for award coverage).
Fast food outlets in the state industrial relations system that are not trading as one of the named businesses are covered by the Restaurant, Café and Catering (WA) Award.
