The North East Baldivis District Structure Plan is adjacent the Kwinana Freeway and Mundijong Road and is 3km from Wellard Train Station and 10km east of Rockingham Centre, it is anticipated to provide up to 6,000 dwellings (a population of 18,000 people) and accommodate:
- a high school and four primary schools;
- a local centre and a neighbourhood centre and 22 hectares of land for employment-generating land uses;
- 303 hectares of Multiple Use Corridors (MUCs) for water management and flood storage;
- 5 hectares of district open space;
- 46 hectares of public open space (contained with the MUCs) and conservation reserves; and
- district and local movement network connections.
