Applications for the 2025 Household Electricity Credit closed on 31 March 2026

You can still access your application to attach supporting documents until Friday 24 April 2026.

Applications are processed in the order they are received. 


How to access the Household Electricity Credit section of the Online Services Portal

Once you have registered and logged in to RevenueWAConnect, access the Online Services Portal and click on the Electricity Credits box under Our Services

How to attach supporting documents to your submitted application

In the Electricity Credits box under Our Services, click on Household Credit - Add Information.

Select your application from the Original Application drop-down box.

Select the supporting document and click Upload.

The supporting documents you need to provide are:

  • a copy of your identification document.
  • a bank statement for the nominated account in the name of the applicant(s).
    • The statement you provide must include the account name, BSB and account number. We don’t need to see your transaction details.
    • If the nominated account is not in the name of all owners or tenants, provide a completed Authorisation form with the ID of each owner or tenant.
  • a copy of the lease agreement (if you are a tenant).
  • evidence of electricity costs covering 30 September 2025.
    • If your property is on an embedded network or sub-meter, provide the invoice from a third party (strata management, caravan or retirement management company) recouping the costs from you as owner or tenant.
    • Off-grid households need to substantiate power generation infrastructure by providing evidence of costs incurred, such as receipts for solar panels, generators or associated expenses.

Households eligible for the Energy Concession Extension Scheme (ECES)

  • If you were registered for ECES on or before 30 September 2025 - you will have already been paid the credit directly into your nominated bank account.
  • If you registered for ECES before 31 March 2026 - we will pay the credit directly into your nominated bank account after we have received all supporting documents.
