Background on the commissioning process

Communities leads the At-Risk Youth Strategy and funds several programs which support young people and their families, including At-Risk Youth, Home Stretch WA and Target 120.

Communities is undertaking a coordinated commissioning process for these services with the aim of achieving a strengthened and more coordinated delivery of supports and services for young people and families across WA communities.

Important key elements of the service models will retain their original service specifications.

Communities is inviting current, interested, and potential service providers in the following relevant locations to an information session in preparation for the proposed commissioning of service agreements. At-Risk Youth

The Department of Communities supports vulnerable young people by funding Youth At Risk services and programs across Western Australia.

Home Stretch WA

Home Stretch WA provides young people leaving out-of-home care in Western Australia with the option to continue to receive support up until the age of 21.

Target 120 Program

Target 120 is a Western Australian Government initiative to build safer and more inclusive communities.
