Commissioning of Home Stretch WA

Home Stretch WA provides young people leaving out-of-home care in Western Australia with the option to continue to receive support up until the age of 21.

Home Stretch is a state-wide program that provides services and support to young people leaving out-of-home care (aged 17.5 to 21 years), to support their transition to independence and adulthood.

The Department of Communities (Communities) is undertaking a commissioning process to procure new service agreements to deliver the Home Stretch WA program.

Information Sessions

In August to October 2025, Communities held information sessions across the State to ensure current, interested and potential organisations are well prepared to respond to the proposed opportunity.
