Background on the commissioning process

Communities leads the At-Risk Youth Strategy and funds several programs which support young people and their families, including At-Risk Youth, Home Stretch WA and Target 120.

Communities is undertaking a coordinated commissioning process for these services with the aim of achieving a strengthened and more coordinated delivery of supports and services for young people and families across WA communities.

Important key elements of the service models will retain their original service specifications.

It is expected that this webpage will be a central source of information on the place-based commissioning work as it progresses, including uploading FAQs, outcomes, progress, and webinar links.

If you have any questions about the coordinated commissioning process, or you would like to be added to a mailing list to be kept informed of future updates please contact the team at StrategicServicesARY@communities.wa.gov.au.

Further updates will be provided as they become available. Stakeholders will be encouraged to keep visiting the website for up-to-date information.

A place-based commissioning webinar will be held on Tuesday 1 September 2026 at 10:30 – 11:15am. A recording will be made available for those who are unable to attend. Registration is required at: At Risk Youth, Home Stretch WA and Target 120 Commissioning.
