Written acknowledgement

Election commitment grant recipients are required to recognise the contribution of the WA Government, including on print and promotional materials and signage.

Acknowledgement wording must be:

  • Supported by the WA Government.

The WA Government logo can be used on print material, including but not limited to:

  • facility opening and events
  • promotional material including social and digital recognition
  • brochures/flyers/posters
  • certificates/awards
  • newsletters
  • presentations
  • plaques and project signage
  • website.

If you are required to recognise funding from more than one WA Government department, the WA Government logo is to be used in most circumstances. Please download the 'Coat of Arms - text - Government of Western Australia' zip file from the WA State Government Common badging downloads page.

Colours

Government of WA coat of arms with indicating arrows stating 15mm minimum width

Do not change the colours used in the logo. They are part of the WA State Government Common Badging and cannot be changed.

Minimum size

The State Coat of Arms must never by used at less than 15mm wide. For more details please visit WA State Government Common Badging.

Exclusion zone

The distance around the logo must be no smaller than the width of the State Coat of Arms. If you are using another logo on your promotional material, do not put it too close to the WA Government logo. For more details please visit WA State Government Common Badging.

Logo placement

The WA Government logo should be placed appropriately in relation to your own logo or identity. If other organisations are also supporting your organisation, please make sure that the logos aren’t crowded too closely together.

The WA Government logo should always be placed first and to the left, except on the occasion that federal funding is provided, in which case, the WA Government logo will sit immediately to the right of the Australian Government logo.

A few dont's

You should also be careful not to:

  • change the size or shape of any part of the WA Government logo
  • place the logo on a patterned background
  • distort the logo
  • re-create the logo using different fonts
  • use the words Government of Western Australia without the State Coat of Arms
  • attach other words to the logo.
