About
The Digital Futures Innovation Hub (the Hub) is a Western Australian Government funded initiative that supports innovators, entrepreneurs and startups at the pre-idea, concept development and validation stages.
Funded through the New Industries Investment Fund (NIIF), the Hub will receive $1.5 million over three years from 1 July 2027.
The Hub will help founders explore opportunities, refine ideas, develop early-stage solutions and test market potential. Participants will gain access to mentoring, industry connections, skills development and expert advice to progress innovative digital products, services and business models.
A key focus will be building capability in artificial intelligence (AI), data science, cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
Purpose
Digital technologies are creating new opportunities for innovation, productivity and economic growth.
The Digital Futures Innovation Hub will strengthen Western Australia's capability in AI, data science, cybersecurity and emerging technologies by supporting early-stage innovation and technology adoption.
Through collaboration with industry, government, research organisations and the startup ecosystem, the Hub will help innovators develop and validate new ideas, build digital capability and create pathways towards commercialisation and growth.
