Important Information

Your details will be shared with the prisoner. It is their choice to add your number to their phone account. Please allow up to 5 business days for the process.

Adding your number

1. The prisoner will receive your number within 1 business day.
2. If they choose to add it, they will submit a request to their Unit Officer.
3. You will get a call from an officer to confirm your identity and consent. This call may come from a private number.
4. Once confirmed, your number will be added within 1–2 business days.

Removing your number

• After your request, the prisoner’s account will be updated within 2–3 business days.

Requirements

• Your identity and relationship to the prisoner must be verified.
• Numbers will not be added if:
  • There is an active restraining order.
  • The number was previously removed.
• Requests to re-add a number must be in writing to the Superintendent of Albany Regional Prison.
