The Delivery and Policy Division provides strategic leadership and coordination to ensure whole-of-government priorities are effectively delivered. It is structured under two key streams: Delivery Unit and Policy. Together, these functions enable DPC to provide independent, evidence-based advice and ensure accountability and alignment between Government decision making and the delivery of Government priorities.

Delivery Unit

The Delivery Unit drives the implementation of key government priorities. It provides strategic oversight and support to the Premier and Cabinet to ensure coordinated, high‑impact delivery across agencies to achieve measurable outcomes for Western Australians. It oversees Cabinet functions, intergovernmental relations, strategic communications, the Office of Early Childhood, the Collie Delivery Unit and other time-limited reform projects.

Policy Group

The Policy Group provides strategic leadership in developing and shaping whole-of-government policy advice on complex issues, ensuring alignment with government priorities. It is responsible for the effective coordination, oversight, and delivery of the Government’s budget strategy, strategic policies, as well as developing sector-wide approaches to meet government objectives. The Policy Directorate navigates cross-cutting challenges and engages with senior representatives from government, industry, and the community to develop evidence-based policy solutions.
