Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure – Grants for Business, Not-for-Profits and Local Governments

Energy Policy WA is developing guidelines for the delivery of grants of up to 50% of the cost of installing electric vehicle recharging infrastructure by not-for-profits, small and medium-sized businesses, and local governments.

On 10 May 2022 the Premier announced funding support of $10 million over 2022-23 and 2023-24 for Energy Policy WA to deliver grants of up to 50% of the cost of installing electric vehicle charging infrastructure for not-for-profits, and small and medium-sized businesses. 

Another $5 million of grant funding will be available for local governments to install electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Energy Policy WA is developing the governance framework and guidelines for the grant scheme for government approval, with grants expected to be made available early in 2023.
