Working in a smaller government enterprise you will have the opportunity to make a greater impact on our current and future direction. We are passionate about maintaining healthy and sustainable forests across Western Australia - spanning the beautiful South-West regions and other more remote areas of forestry, including the goldfields.

We have commenced a major transformation linked to changes in forest health and management; and the State Government investment of $350 million to expand our softwood plantations.

The FPC employs approximately 160 people in a variety of roles across our Forest Operations, New Business and Innovation, Finance, Business Services and People and Culture divisions, with staff based in eight locations throughout south west Western Australia.

Careers at Forest Products Commission

We are a team of forestry professionals engaged in the industry from the seed to the end-product. We work with community, industry and government to deliver sustainable forest management.  We create an environment of innovation, ensuring that our plantation timber industry is a strategic and sustainable resource for the future.

We have a range of career options across the southwest and Perth CBD and through our People Plan 2021-2023 we are building the capability of our workforce and working towards our people vision of engaging our people, growing our people and future proofing our workforce by making sure we have the right people with the right skills.
