What we do

In December 2025, the Western Australian Parliament passed the Liquor Control Amendment Act 2025, which received Royal Assent. This Act removed the Liquor Commission’s review and disciplinary powers.

From 1 July 2026, the State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) will take over the Commission’s role. Any unresolved matters will be transferred to the SAT.  For more information about the SAT and its processes, visit www.sat.justice.wa.gov.au.
