The Road Safety Commission administers RTTA funding on behalf of the Minister for Road Safety to improve road safety and reduce road trauma in line with the State Governments Driving Change Strategy and Action Plan.

All proposals should consider what road safety benefit the project will have, and how the project aligns with both the State Government's Driving Change Strategy and Action Plan.

To apply for Mid-Year Review 2026-27, click here. If you have an existing application, please log-in to your SmartyFile account, and follow the instructions to vary your application.

Before you finalise your application, you should read the FAQs, and contact the Commission to discuss your proposal. This allows the Commission to help you develop your application in line with priority areas and ensure the correct application form is being submitted.

RTTA Mid-Year Review Applications will close on 31st July 2026. No late applications will be considered. Please contact the Commission if you are seeking to submit a new proposal for Mid-Year Review prior to commencing application.
