You need five original identity documents to verify your full name, date of birth and current residential address.
Take them to a Driver and Vehicle Services Centre or regional agent with a completed photo card application form. Applications cannot be done online.
They can only be done via mail if you:
- have a medical condition
- live in a remote area
- are temporarily absent from WA.
In these cases, you also need to complete a photo kit form.
A WA photo card takes about 14 days to be processed and is valid for five years.
