If you have lost or damaged your vehicle licence papers, or need proof of vehicle ownership, you can buy copies.
Buying a copy does not renew or extend the expiry date of the vehicle licence.
You cannot buy:
- expired vehicle licence documents
- documents for a previous year
- a vehicle you no longer own
- a vehicle no longer licensed.
You will need identification (PDF) if applying in person at a Driver and Vehicle Services Centre or regional agent or you can buy copies of vehicle licence papers online through DoTDirect.
