The Perth Casino Royal Commission is calling for submissions from members of the public to a discussion paper it has released today.
The paper, Regulatory Framework Discussion Paper, is open for comment until 29 November 2021, and is available on the Commission’s website under Publications, Practice Directions and Rulings.
The Terms of Reference (ToR) 11 required the Commission to report on any policy, legislative, administrative or structural reforms or changes which might enhance the existing regulatory framework governing casino regulation in Western Australia.
The paper has been prepared to inform the Commission’s enquiry into ToR 11 and is a high-level exploration of issues. It does not express any final or concluded views.
