The vision will be supported by an Economic Development Strategy and preferred Land Use Plan.
Beyond that, the State Government will be considering the transitioning of container and non-container trades from Fremantle Port as part of the Westport Business Case and Non-Container Trade projects. The staging and sequencing of any future redevelopment of the Inner Harbour would need to respond to the Government's transition plan for moving trades out of Fremantle.
