The Procurement Act 2020 allows the Department of Finance to release General Procurement Directions. State agencies must comply with these Directions.

Recent changes
General Procurement Direction 2023/02 – Managing Works Projects Other Than Non-Residential Buildings took effect on 30 October 2023. The Procurement Direction is available on General Procurement Direction 2023/02 – Managing works projects other than non-residential buildings.
General Procurement Direction 2022/03 – Centralised Purchasing of Essential Products was revoked by notice with effect from 21 September 2023.
