Working with Children Check - Events

Online sessions

The WWC Screening Unit offer the following online information sessions:

• Ready, Check and Go! - aimed at new organisations or people new to their role, to raise awareness of the purpose of the WWC Check, organisational obligations, and responsibilities under the Working with Children (Screening) Act 2004 (the Act).
• Parents and Guardians - for parents and guardians to learn about their rights and obligations under the Act.
• Ready, Check, Chat! - 1:1 consultation session for organisations to discuss specific questions directly with the Community Engagement Team.

In addition to this, information sessions are offered for specific sectors, campaigns and amendments to the Act. Register for one of our free sessions through our Eventbrite page or subscribe to our quarterly e-newsletter to stay on top of what sessions are being held.

Regional and remote activities

Join us as we travel across WA to 'Explore the Check!', providing information about the WWC Check and helping individuals and organisations understand their rights and obligations.
