Online sessions

The Working with Children (WWC) Screening Unit holds several free workshops and information sessions for organisations and individuals to better understand the WWC Check.

In addition to continuing our Ready, Check and GO! workshop series, Parents and Guardians information sessions and Ready, Check, Chat! consultations with organisations, we are holding a series of Amendments information sessions to help organisations understand the WWC legislative changes which came into effect 1 July 2023.

Metropolitan face to face sessions

During 2023 and 2024 the WWC Screening Unit  will be raising awareness of the Amendments and ensuring individuals understand their rights and obligations under the Act.

Regional and Remote activities

During 2023 and 2024 the WWC Screening Unit is hitting the road and will travel across all regions of WA to raise awareness of the Amendments and to help people understand what they mean for them.
