Before you apply
1. Complete requirements
- A copy of your Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, issued (within the last two years) on completion of your Minimum Australian Context Gap Training by a Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
- Proof of ID ready to upload.
- A fit and proper assessment ready to upload (dated within the past 3 months).
- Visa/Mastercard for fee payment.

After your application has been submitted
Licence applications typically take 6–8 weeks to process. We’ll contact you if we need any additional information, and you’ll receive an email once your licence has been finalised.
