Before you apply
1. Complete requirements
- Proof of ID ready to upload.
- A police check ready to upload (dated within the past 3 months).
- Visa/Mastercard for fee payment.
- A copy of an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (ARTC) in the trade of ‘Electrical Fitter’ issued by Trades Recognition Australia.
- OR A copy of a Technical Skills Assessment Record (TSAR) endorsed ‘Electrical Fitting’ issued by North Metropolitan TAFE, South Metropolitan TAFE or College of Electrical Training.
2. Complete application form

After your application has been submitted
Licence applications typically take 6–8 weeks to process. We’ll contact you if we need any additional information, and you’ll receive an email once your licence has been finalised.
