Application to renew a high risk work licence (HRWL).

How to submit your application for a high risk work licence renewal

High risk work licences are valid for 5 years. If your application to renew is received before your licence expires you can continue to work, until a decision on the application is made. Applications to renew can be made up to 90 days before and 12 months after the licence expires.

Have the following information ready before applying to renew your High Risk Work Licence:

  • Digital passport standard photograph (see Photograph requirements below).
  • High risk work licence number.
  • Email address or mobile phone number currently recorded with WorkSafe licensing.
  • Residential address.

Once you have your supporting documents ready, you can lodge your application online and make payment via Visa or Mastercard:
