- carry out water supply and sanitary and/or drainage plumbing; and
- supervise the carrying out of such work by an apprentice, under the general direction and control of the holder of a plumbing contractor's licence.

1.You'll need:
- A copy of your Certificate III in Plumbing or Plumbing (Drainage) OR a copy of your Statement of academic record OR a copy of your statement of attainment
- AND a copy of your trade certificate OR an official Australian apprenticeship document issued by a state or territory training authority confirming the successful completion of the training contract.
2. Additional documents
You'll also need:
- 100 points of identification ready to upload.
- An acceptable photograph for your licence card (clear passport style image of head and shoulders against a white background, no hats or sunglasses).
- A police check (dated within the past 3 months, showing the same name as your identification).
- Visa/Mastercard for fee payment.

International applicants - Overseas qualification and experience
Show moreIf you’ve gained your skills outside Western Australia, you may be eligible for a tradesperson’s licence if your qualification and work experience are considered equivalent by the Board.
1. You’ll need:
- A copy of a skilled migration outcome letter confirming that your qualification and work experience meet the requirements of Trades Recognition Australia’s Offshore Skills Assessment Program for Plumber (General).
