You must renew your licence 12 weeks before expiry until up to 28 days after expiry. If your licence has been expired for more than 28 days you may be able to reissue your licence.
Courtesy renewal reminder notices are sent by email. To ensure you receive reminders, ensure your contact details are up to date.
Online Renewal
You will need:
- Your licence number (shown on your licence or search WA Licence Search).
- Mobile phone number and/or email address on file with the department.
- A police check ready to upload (dated within the past 3 months, showing the same name as your identification).
- Fitness and propriety form
- An acceptable photograph for your licence card (clear passport style image of head and shoulders against a white background, no hats or sunglasses).
- Visa/Mastercard for fee payment.
