Your role as a member of the Senior Executive Service is vital to deliver the government priorities that benefit the lives of Western Australians and support vibrant communities across our vast state.

As an SES member, it is important for you to grow your abilities intentionally and deliberately by committing to self awareness, development and continuous learning. You need to carve out time and space for this to stay relevant and successful in a rapidly changing environment by improving strategic decision making, driving innovation and developing high performing teams.

This is why the Commission offers the SES Development Series. The 3 courses in this program build the skills, insights and confidence needed at the Executive Leader, Multiple Area Leader and Agency Leader contexts. Each course is specifically crafted for the WA public sector and includes practical, relevant learnings you can apply straight away.
