The Manager Strategy and Engagement is responsible as a member of the Corporate Executive to support the Commissioner to undertake strategic and operational planning for the Equal Opportunity Commission. The role manages the community education and engagement function of the Equal Opportunity Commission to inform the community of their rights and obligations under the Equal Opportunity Act 1984. The Manager identifies community engagement and other communications strategies to support equality and substantive equality; and coordinates forums and programs to support the implementation of substantive equality in the public sector.
