AWARE is a competitive grant initiative of the Western Australian Government that invests in building capacity and preparedness activities at a local level. The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) provides executive and administrative support for the State Emergency Management Committee (SEMC) to administer the AWARE program.
