The yearly State Wage Case sets the minimum pay and award wages. Pay increases usually apply from the beginning of the first pay period that starts on or after 1 July each year.
This WA award summary applies to businesses in the state industrial relations system.

This award covers private businesses which are nurseries, child care or day care facilities that do not receive direct ongoing funding for the centre from the State or Federal Governments.
If the child care centre is directly funded by Government, the Child Care (Subsidised Centres) Award may be the applicable award.
