All local government employers and employees are in the state industrial relations system.

Local government employers may have industrial (enterprise) agreements that provide pay and entitlements specific to their workforce. The Local Government Officers Award or parts of it, may not apply if employees are covered by an industrial agreement. Contact the Human Resources area of the local government for information on any relevant industrial agreement.

WA award summaries for previous years are provided as a resource for employers and employees. The previous versions contain out-of-date rates of pay.
