The WA Government has committed to table annual progress reports in Parliament for five consecutive years, pursuant to recommendation 17.2 of the Royal Commission’s Final Report. This report is the State Government’s first annual progress report.
It provides an overview of the key achievements that have already been made by the WA Government to prevent abuse, identify and respond swiftly to abuse should it occur, and address abuse that happened in the past. This report also identifies the priorities for 2019-20.
