The Corrective Services Strategic Plan 2025–2030 was shaped by consultation with our staff, partners, and stakeholders, and, informed by reviews of and recommendations made about our organisation.
The plan is underpinned by Corrective Services’ principles of People, Partnerships and Performance, which will support staff to deliver on the goal of a Safer, Smarter and Healthier Corrections.
The Strategic Plan is anchored by four strategic priorities:
- Build a strong culture of safety, respect, and trust.
- Create environments that facilitate positive change to reduce reoffending.
- Drive better outcomes and positive change by partnering with Aboriginal people.
- Develop a high-performing organisation where our people are empowered.
Each of the four priorities in our Strategic Plan is supported by four focus areas — and these play an important role in turning the strategic intent of the Plan into practical action.
This Strategic Plan provides the long-term direction for our organisation and reflects our collective vision of "A connected Corrective Services contributing to a safer Western Australia" and our values of Integrity, Teamwork, Professionalism, Respect and Accountability.
