Information about the Frontline Talent Register

The Frontline Talent Register is an online portal that allows you to register your interest for short term contract opportunities (up to six months) at the Department of Communities in a range of key front-line positions located across Western Australia.

Once you register your interest, your CV will stay on the register until 30 June 2023, after which time, you will need to reapply. Please be aware there is no guarantee that an offer of employment will be made while an application remains on the register. 

The Frontline Talent Register is actively monitored, and you may be contacted if an opportunity arises suiting your skills and experience. Sometimes depending on the need to urgency to fill a position, you may be contacted at short notice.

Key frontline positions

Through the Frontline Talent Register, we may need full time, part time or casual staff to join the Communities team in the following (but not limited to) positions:

  • Child Protection Workers (Qualified)
  • Field Workers (Non-Qualified)
  • Residential Care Workers Metro and Country 
  • Case Support Officer
  • Customer Service Officers 
  • Housing and Property Service Officers 
  • Administration Officer

Eligibility requirements

You must be an Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or hold an appropriate Australian work visa to apply for a position through the register. Migration information for international applicants can be found on the Migration WA website.
