We are seeking a qualified and experienced operator organisation to undertake the implementation and operation of the WA Commercialisation Hub.
Funded by the New Industries and Innovation Fund (NIIF), formerly known as the New Industries Fund, the WA Commercialisation Hub will act as a bridge between research, industry, and government to transform innovative ideas into market-ready products.
The Hub will provide support for business growth with specific focus on intellectual property (IP) management, commercialisation and scale-up support services.
It will support scaleups across commercial competencies such as financial literacy and capital raising, strategic planning, networking and mentorship, market expansion and access to capital funding.
The WA Commercialisation Hub will be funded at $2 million over a four-year period from date of commencement.
Submitting an Expression of Interest
Expressions of Interest (EOI) to operate the WA Commercialisation Hub close at 5pm (AWST) on 30 September 2026.

WA's Innovation Hubs
The State Government currently funds four innovation hubs – the WA Cyber Security Innovation Hub, CyberWest, the WA Data Science Innovation Hub, the WA Creative Tech Innovation Hub and the WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub.
CyberWest, the WA Data Science Innovation Hub and the WA Creative Tech Innovation Hub have been funded through the New Industries Fund and existing agreements are due to conclude on 30 June 2027.
