About

The Western Australian Government has launched a $1 million International Education Familiarisation Program to reconnect with key offshore recruitment staff. This exciting program will develop and support familiarisations activity that showcases Western Australia to key stakeholders offshore, providing the experience they need to promote the state to prospective students.

Education Trade Familiarisations

This Familiarisation Program will provide our network of Education Business Development Managers, located in Investment and Trade Offices offshore, with dedicated funding to develop and host trade familiarisation itineraries to build the relationship between the WA Government and key offshore recruitment staff.

Collaborative Familiarisation Fund

Through the International Education Familiarisation Program, the Western Australian International Education sector will also have the opportunity to access funding to deliver collaborative familiarisations that promote the state as a study destination like no other. A $700,000 funding pool will provide the sector with grant funding of up to $50,000 for each approved familiarisation program.

The Collaborative Familiarisation Fund promotes collaboration between Western Australian education providers, relevant government bodies, and tourism operators to ensure that Western Australia as a study destination is represented in a united front.
