The WA Innovator of the Year Awards’ Business News ‘Great for the State’ Platinum Award recognises WA innovators who have developed an outstanding innovation, which raises the profile of WA and contributes to developing WA’s reputation as an innovative and pioneering state.

The Western Australia Innovator of the Year (WAIOTY) program has showcased innovative and entrepreneurial individuals, businesses and creative minds since 2006.

All finalists for the WAIOTY program will receive a wide range of commercialisation training and development opportunities, including one-on-one mentoring sessions, a professional photo and video shoot, as well as workshops and webinars on pitch presentation, protecting your IP, grant writing and much more.

This year 4 finalists have been chosen for the Business News ‘Great for the State’ Platinum Award.

Earflo

EarFlo is an innovative medical device developed to treat young children who suffer from chronic ear infections and restoring their hearing. Instead of undergoing “grommet” surgery, which is the usual treatment option, the EarFlo device offers a non-surgical alternative.
