Victim Notification Register

Victims can elect to register to receive updates about an offender’s sentence.

Victim Engagement Unit

We help victims stay safe while an offender is on a supervised order and can relay concerns to the decision-making authority.

Victim Liaison Team

We help individuals bereaved by homicide, manages victim complaints and feedback, and can help victims make HRSO submissions.

Breach of Victim Treatment Guidelines

Western Australia recognises the rights of victims of crime through an act of State Parliament. The Victims of Crime Act 1994 has 12 guidelines to protect and support victims of crime.

Restorative Justice

Restorative Justice processes can be facilitated by the Restorative Justice Unit.

Homicide Assistance Payments Scheme

The Office of the Commissioner for Victims of Crime has expanded their ability to assist individuals bereaved by homicide.
