The information below outlines how individuals can provide a comment via Premier's comment line, or make a complaint to the Ombudsman.

Make a comment to the WA Government

You can leave a comment on the WA Government line by telephoning 61 8 6552 6888 or emailing wa-government@dpc.wa.gov.au. This is a comments line only and does not provide you with a response.

If you would like a written response, please follow the steps below on how to make a complaint to the Department.

You can also choose to get in touch with the relevant Minister.

How to make a complaint to the Department

If you are not happy with any aspect of the Department of Premier and Cabinet's functions, wish to make a suggestion about how we could improve what we do or if you have a general query, please contact us on the email address admin@dpc.wa.gov.au or phone 61 8 6552 5000.

Someone on our team will assess your complaint or query and provide a response.

If you are not happy with the resolution of your complaint or query, you can choose to escalate it further.

Taking a complaint further

If you are not happy with the way the Department has dealt with your complaint or query you can contact the Ombudsman Western Australia on their email address mail@ombudsman.wa.gov.au or on 61 8 9220 7555.

You can also contact the Ombudsman Western Australia if you do not wish to raise your complaint directly with the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

For more information, visit the Ombudsman website.

Complaints by Suppliers

If you are not happy with a procurement process, you can contact the Chief Procurement Officer via email at susan.davies@dpc.wa.gov.au in the first instance.

If you have done this and are still not satisfied, or if you do not wish to take this step, you may lodge a complaint by email to governance@dpc.wa.gov.au.

If the issue remains unresolved, you can register a complaint to the Department of Finance. The Department of Finance will review the complaint if you can demonstrate that you have tried and have been unsuccessful in resolving the issue with the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
